Goldfields Brass Band

The Goldfields Brass Band is a community band based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia. It is now the only community brass band in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, giving free tuition to learners young and old and performing at events in and around the Goldfields.

It was founded by the late Mr Fred Asher in 1963, starting out as the Boulder Primary School Brass Band. As membership varied over the years, the name was changed to Boulder Council Youth Band, Boulder Council Brass Band, and finally, Goldfields Brass Band. The current conductor is Mr Keith Nicholas.

Rehearsals are held every Tuesday evening at the old Court House, 72 Burt Street, Boulder.

The Goldfields Brass Band is also on Facebook.
